The National Academy for Parenting Practitioners uniquely links research, training, practical support and information to make sure that people who work with parents are able to do that successfully.

Research

Through our internationally recognised research programme we are developing the evidence base around what works in parenting support. We evaluate current practice, research promising areas of work and bring in the best ideas about how to support parents. 

Training

Our evidence based training, available to thousands of practitioners, promotes practice that is known to work and which is based on theories that have been rigorously tested and analysed. 

Knowledge

We are also a centre of knowledge and information for the whole of the parenting practitioner field. We make available new evidence and learning to enrich the skills and understanding of the whole workforce.
