Top-up training for youth justice workers has been developed by the Academy in partnership with the Trust for Adolescence.
Top–up trainings for health visitors and social workers have also been developed.
Accredited and non-accredited training from a range of providers is available across the United Kingdom. To be able to engage in training which enables you to meet the relevant Occupational Standards you need to request that the training provider explains which specific Occupational Standards their training will enable you to meet.
The Self Assessment Skills Scan is a valuable tool in assessing the type of training a person needs. The current version is being revised and the new version will be available later in 2008.
